IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM YOUR TRAINING OFFICER

FOR SEA CADETS, THE BMR MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN NINETY (90) DAYS OF ENROLLMENT.  IF THE BMR IS NOT COMPLETED, THE CADET WILL BE DROPPED FROM ENROLLMENT.  COURSES MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE IT IS TIME FOR ADVANCEMENT!!!

The BMR must be completed in order to advance to E-2T and / or to attend Recruit Training, which must be completed during your first year as a Sea Cadet.   If you have questions,  please contact the Training Officer, LT Cox at (337) 302-5378.

ADVANCED TRAINING
Advanced trainings are offered during the summer and during winter break.  Before a Cadet can attend advanced trainings, they must attend Recruit Training, complete the BMR and may be required to complete other training specific correspondence courses.  There may be other training specific requirements (ie physical fitness standards, Dive Qualifications, age restrictions) and they will be posted to the training schedule.  Please visit the link below to see what Advanced Trainings are being offered.  Once you have located a training you would like to attend, contact LT Cox to begin the process and reserve your spot at training.
